Yes, I think the Citadel would be a good place for you. If you know Paddles, it's a similar vibe, but a bit nicer. There are a lot of 'regulars', as well as people who just come out from time to time. There is a lot of space, etc.

Hogtie doesn't imply hooks in the ceiling, so I don't see the connection. Either way, yes the Citadel has many suspension points. When you get there, just let the desk person know you're new and ask if somebody can show you around.


The Power Exchange also has a lot of open play. However it's not really the "Bdsm Community" vibe like The Citadel. It's more of a sex club, parts of it are reserved for gay men, parts are mixed. There will be wankers and such watching you.

Wednesday night is Bondage-A-Go-Go which is a standard Bar / Music scene, however they have some space set aside for BDSM play as long as it follow bar rules (no full nudity, no sex, etc.)
